Why isn't Nestora in the App Store or Google Play?
Nestora is a web app that you install straight from your browser: on iPhone, open gonestora.app in Safari and tap Share → Add to Home Screen; on Android, tap Install app in Chrome. It runs on the same secure (HTTPS) site, updates instantly without waiting for app-store review, and opens full-screen from your home screen like any other app. You don't have to install it at all: links in Nestora emails open in any browser. On iPhone, notifications work after you add Nestora to your Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or later).
Do tenants and contractors need an account?
They get a free Nestora login tied to their email address, with no password. We email a 6-digit code each time they sign in. Contractors you invite can accept a job right after signing in; tenants can submit requests once you approve them (invites you send are pre-approved).
Is Nestora free?
Yes. Nestora is free during early access. If we ever introduce paid plans, we'll give existing users reasonable notice first (see our Terms).
Does it work offline?
Not yet. You need a connection to load jobs and upload photos. Offline support for contractors is on our roadmap.
